Police-trained safety meets a calm, supportive environment. I’ve spent my career managing road risks so your child can gain the skills to navigate them with confidence.
To parents: I teach the safety habits that save lives.
To students: I’ve got you—we’ll build your skills and confidence together, one calm drive at a time.

At Coffs Coast Driving Academy, I believe learning to drive is a high-stakes investment in your future safety. Passing a test is the bare minimum—my goal is to build the high-level awareness and defensive habits that keep you safe long after the P-plates are on.
We move away from the 'rushed hour' model. Our 90-minute Accelerator sessions provide the necessary window for deep skill-acquisition and real-world practice. This extra time allows us to move past the basics and focus on advanced hazard perception and decision-making under pressure.
Whether you are a nervous learner, a student who learns differently, or simply someone who refuses to settle for 'average' instruction, I provide a highly professional, vetted, and supportive
environment.
Every session is precisely tailored to your learning style, ensuring you don't just succeed on test day—you master the road with Safety, Skill, and Independence.

Safety isn't just a lesson—it's an instinct. With my background in the NSW Police Force, I teach learners how to 'read' the road and anticipate dangers 100 meters ahead. We don't just react to hazards; we actively prevent them.

Driving anxiety leads to poor decision-making.
I incorporate professional stress-regulation techniques to keep learners calm, focused, and in total control. We turn 'nervous energy' into quiet, capable confidence.

Every brain learns differently. Whether a student is neurodivergent, has ADHD, or simply needs a different approach, I adapt my coaching to their specific needs. No 'one-size-fits-all' teaching—just progress at the right pace

Our goal isn't just to get a piece of plastic; it’s to build a driver who is safe to go solo. We focus on the defensive driving habits and 'Police-Eye' awareness that ensure your child is prepared for the road long after our lessons end.

Before becoming a driving instructor, I worked as a Police Officer where road safety, hazard perception, and staying calm under pressure was essential every day.
That experience now shapes how I teach people to drive.
I know learning to drive can feel overwhelming — for both learners and parents. That’s why my lessons are structured, supportive, and focused on building real confidence behind the wheel.
As a Certified Yoga & Breathwork Instructor and an Accredited Mental Health First Aider, I bring simple, proven calming techniques into the car. These help nervous drivers manage stress, stay focused, and remain relaxed—turning a potentially overwhelming experience into a capable, confident one.
My goal is simple: to help you become a safe, confident driver for life—one safe habit at a time.

Learning to drive shouldn't feel like a race. 60-minute lessons are often rushed; by the time a student settles in, the lesson is over. Our 90-minute Accelerator sessions provide the "quiet space" needed to actually build muscle memory and safe habits.
The Bonus: Every 90-minute session earns 4.5 hours in your NSW Logbook, helping you reach your 120-hour goal much faster.
Absolutely. As a female former Police Officer, professional integrity and personal safety are my highest priorities. I provide a highly vetted, respectful, and secure environment where both students and parents can feel 100% at ease. I am fully insured and hold a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Every brain learns differently, and I don’t believe in "one-size-fits-all" instruction.
For neurodivergent learners, I tailor my teaching style to match how you process information—whether that’s through visual demonstrations, logical "why" explanations, or hands-on practice.
For nervous drivers, I use my background as a Breathwork and Yoga Instructor to provide a calm, regulated environment. We use grounding techniques to manage stress and sensory overload, ensuring you feel capable and understood, never rushed or overwhelmed.
No. We offer specialist driving training for all drivers. This includes L-Plates, mature drivers, Refresher courses to fix bad habits, enhanced road safety sessions, and specialized monthly workshops (check back for upcoming dates!).
Actually, it’s the opposite. My experience as a Police Officer me how to stay calm in high-pressure situations. I trade the "intensity" for Police-level hazard perception—teaching students how to read the road like a pro, so they can stay safe and relaxed when they eventually drive solo.
